In flower photography, the focus is usually on the flower itself. With a shallow depth of field and a soft, blurred background, you create a sense of calm in your image. However, you can get more creative by keeping only part of the flower field in sharp focus. Personally, I enjoy shooting through the flowers rather than focusing on the ones in the foreground. By focusing on a flower a bit further away, the surrounding blooms blur, creating a beautiful, dreamy effect.
